Printing

All of our prints are produced on 310gsm fine art inkjet paper using pigment inks for maximum lightfastness. Under normal hanging conditions the colours should remain stable for the life of the purchaser, but we would recommend that direct sunlight and extremes of temperature and humidity are avoided as these may reduce print life.

The process of reproducing the original painting as a print starts with taking a digital photograph, which is then cropped on the computer to the correct proportions. We then take the image through a series of colour adjustments to ensure that the reproduction captures the essence of the original. Once we arrive at this digital master file we know that the colours will be constant whether it is printed straight away or several years later, ensuring constant quality for our customers.

As we produce all the prints ourselves, please contact us to discuss special sizes if our standard sizes don't meet your needs.
